The LEGO Batman Movie won the weekend, with a $55 million domestic / $92 million worldwide opening — which makes it the highest-earning film of 2017 thus far. The reviews are excellent too, with a Tomatometer of 91%. It's popular with children and adults alike. It's even popular with your iPhone.
As we saw in the film, Batman was able to access his computer by saying, "Hey, Computer" or "Hey, 'Puter." Now can do the same. Thanks to a stealthy update and some very nifty marketing, your iPhone now responds to you as if you're LEGO Batman. You need only access Siri and say, "Hey, Computer."
The responses I've received include, "Welcome home, sir. I have your rom coms queued up, sorted by decade." and "Hello, sir. I've heated up your lobster thermidor in the microwave."
According to MacRumors, this isn't the first time Apple's virtual assistant has been co-opted. In August 2016, Siri responded to questions about Pokemon Go.
iPhone users should grab this opportunity to chat to the 'Puter with both hands and a bat-grapnel. It's about as close to becoming LEGO Batman as we're ever going to get.
