They say there's no honor among thieves, but what about mustaches? Today, two stars of the DC Extended Universe, Zachary Levi and Henry Cavill, bonded over their facial hair after Levi posted a photo of himself in costume as the hero Shazam! while also rocking a solid (fake) 'stache.
"Hey, @henrycavill, I feel you boo. #shazagnumpi," wrote Levi in the Instagram post, referring to the fact that Cavill's mustache, the one he grew for Mission: Impossible - Fallout, had to be digitally removed during reshoots for Justice League last year because Paramount supposedly wouldn't let him shave it off.
Cavill responded to his fellow "mustacher" in arms, writing the following:
To which Levi quipped:
Based on the popular DC comic, Shazam! follows the adventures a young kid, Billy Batson (played Asher Angel), who can turn into the titular adult superhero (Levi) and invoke the god-like powers of Solomon, Hercules, Atlas, Zeus, Achilles, and Mercury.
Directed by David F. Sandberg (Lights Out), Shazam! arrives in theaters April 5, 2019. Cavill stars as mustachioed CIA operative August Walker in the sixth Mission: Impossible film, out July 26.
